Vision Board Workshop - 9th January 2010
Do you want to make 2010 the most fantastic year ever for you? Do you want to generate opportunities in all areas of your life? Do you want to meet other people who want to create the 2010 they want? Following on from last year, I am running another Vision Board Workshop in North London on Saturday, 9th January 2010 at 14.00. Numbers are restricted to 8 so the workshop is fun, supportive and comfortable.
A Vision Board is a poster or book created by you that you paste images, photographs or drawings on - the actual technique is simple; the effects are powerful. A Vision Board clarifies and focuses your intentions for the year ahead and is based on the idea that by surrounding yourself with images and drawings you change your life to match those images. It beats New Year’s Resolutions hands down!
Perhaps you want to change where you want to live, your body shape, your career or increase your confidence or maybe all of them - the Vision Board will get you moving in the right direction. And if you don’t know what you want to change or how you want to change its not a problem – this workshop has a habit of helping you make those choices easily.
Course Content
There are number of different approaches to creating your personal Vision Board and each one will be explained fully at the beginning of the workshop so you can decide which method suits you best. However, irrespective of your choice you will work through four stages to create your Vision Board. These are:
Selecting General Material for your Vision Board
Selecting Specific Material for your Vision Board
Creating your Vision Board
Placing Your Vision Board
Although many people do look at their Vision Boards regularly often people put their Vision Board or Book away and are surprised when they look at it again at how many of their desires have been fulfilled.
Vision Board creating is always a fun, stimulating and worthwhile workshop, bringing clarity to your desires and giving you a sense of direction and purpose. Numbers are restricted to 8, light refreshments are provided and it promises to be a valuable and worthwhile few hours.
Location Holloway, North London
Time 14.00 until 18.00
Cost Early Bird (before 20th December 2009) £20 After £25

And Stress Comes Third – A New Approach to Stress Free Living Date to be confirmed
This evening course is designed to give you the tools to help you look at your life in a new way, to make the changes you want for you. Through a series of varied and fun questions and activities, the course will overcome long held beliefs that life is always about being rushed, with little choice over our future and that ‘being stressed’ is an acceptable part of our modern lifestyle.
Although we all need some stress to get us up in the mornings if you often feel time is against you, relaxation is something you do only on your holidays or you’re always physically shattered – there’s a good chance you are living with too much stress in your life. This course will change your approach to your life.

Introduction
Aim for the evening – the changes you want to make and what’s stopping you.
Activity One – Where Am I?
Through an exercise, participants will assess where they are now and what they want to change through exploring what they don’t want in their lives. The concept of ‘should’ and the restrictions that are self imposed on change are explored. The idea of living in the present, past and future is examined along with the effect these have on daily energy levels.
Activity Two - Talking to Myself
‘What we tell ourselves about us’ is the theme for this session. Pathways to change are explored and the idea of self-sabotage and overcoming it are used.
Activity Three – Your Best Hopes
By setting out their best hopes, participants will create their future pathway to creating change and avoiding the stresses they arrived with. All will leave with the tools to review and adapt their lifestyles to their true desires.
How Comfy is Your Couch? - The Art of Self Creation Date to be confirmed
Often we are ‘stuck’ in our lives, sitting on our old couch, wanting to make changes yet finding that we never seem to have the time, lack direction or are simply fearful of change itself.
This weekend residential course is designed to empower you to make the changes you truly want in any area of your life – careers, health and well being or quality of life are some of the areas people have worked on. Whatever you decide you want to focus on, this weekend will leave you feeling stimulated and invigorated with the tools you will need to make changes in your life.
Through a series of workshops, seminars and activities this course takes you on a journey from where you are today to where you feel in control of your life and all that is in it. Limiting beliefs that can stop you from making changes will be challenged and overcome and you will feel supported as you realise that you can make changes and move from your old couch to your new one!
Course Content
Day One
Session One - How Comfy is Your Couch?
Welcome to the weekend. This 90 minute introduction includes an overview of the weekend and the concept of change. Participants will explore where they are now, reflect on their past successes and disappointments and be guided towards the possible lessons that the past has taught them about themselves. It uses a series of workshop exercises and focuses on the area of their lives participants want to change. Bookings for massage treatments later in the day will be taken.
Session Two – Where is Someday Island?
This session explores why we don’t make the changes we want to in our lives - why we are still doing the same job, living in the same house, staying the same body shape, still not exercising, continuing to feel there is no work life balance. The barriers to making change are discussed and the concept of our limiting beliefs is explained along with idea of living in the present. Participants limiting beliefs are explored through individual exercises and ways to overcome them briefly mentioned.
Session Three - Guilt Free Relaxation and Recreation
The area of ‘feeling guilty’ is challenged and explained and its effects on our health and well being discussed. This centres on the mind/body connection. Types of relaxation techniques are discussed and meditation is explained and a voluntary meditation session takes place later at the hotel after the Thames side walk.
A guided exercise walk beside the Thames or a massage treatment is on offer after this session.
Day Two
A voluntary Thames side exercise walk before breakfast is on offer before the second day begins.
Session One – Time to Become Attractive
Through exploring the concept of the Law of Attraction, participants gain an understanding of the influence they have in their own lives – the choices they can make. The ideas of self sabotage, judgement, gratitude and mirroring are discussed. By using simple examples and reflections, participants are challenged to overcome their doubts about themselves.
Session Two – I Have a Vision
This is a practical and fun session using the concept of Vision Boards; this session gets participants to begin planning their year ahead. The idea behind vision boards is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, the body you want to have or where you want to holiday, your life changes to match those images and those desires. Participants finish with a vision board to take home and refer to.
Session Three – Your New Couch
The closing session of the weekend, this brings together the work that has been covered and sets out individual pathways forwards to their new couch. A detailed list of individual ‘best hopes’ are written and any problems are discussed. Participants leave with practical tools to change their lives.
